is there a named phenomenon or at least a snarky thinkpiece about not being able to enjoy canonical holiday movies because the characters are so wealthy their drama can’t resonate with modern audiences? Ex: the family in Home Alone, Clark Griswold throwing a fit bc he won’t be able to build a pool

feel like it’s good that there’s a place to post but man it might be best that some have only a small allocation per day, like when we had text and call limits on phone plans. you only get two posts and two replies per day, don’t waste them on being insufferable

Thrillist brought me to NYC and was my entry to media. the energy there felt unreal, we called it a dream only half-joking. they laid me off after 5 months but I was able to look back at that energy and recall what felt like limitless potential. I hit 10 yrs next year, it’s wild it’ll be mostly gone

Thrillist brought me to NYC and was my entry to media. the energy there felt unreal, we called it a dream only half-joking. they laid me off after 5 months but I was able to look back at that energy and recall what felt like limitless potential. I hit 10 yrs next year, it’s wild it’ll be mostly gone
