It was part of the hiring process during the Biden administration. This is a continuation of the practice.

It was written by a self-described 'radical moderate' so it seems par for the course.

Can you blame them?

Growing up, our family had a similar beef with Andy Williams. Apparently he once told my dad, a chef, how to cook a steak and came to the kitchen to offer pointers. Two decades after the fact we wouldn't watch a Bob Hope, or Christmas Special, if Andy was signing.

Because the leagues reward the cheapness. The last thing MLB owners want is 30 teams really competing for talent - that only drives up prices and leads to disappointment.

Let me be clear - this week's episode was very funny.

How many more seasons does Deon get? Or does he pull the Urban Meyer "Health Reasons" card?

The US is more than white voters.

Democrats managed to win elections in 76, 92, 96, 08, 12, and 20 through a diverse coalition of voters. Diversity of their base isn't the issue. A milquetoast candidate running a shortened campaign based on avoiding the media wasn't a winning strategy.

I suspect the "Democrats are Doomed forever" reaction to 2024 was overblown. The party has some issues, but neither Trump or modern big government Republicanism is that popular. Much of 24 can be blamed on Biden and Harris running the worst campaigns that didn't involve a sex scandal imaginable.

You are probably depressingly correct.

I'm not saying it's a good plan, but I can see the dipshits in this administration trying to Game of Thrones a Vance Presidency.

At this point, it's just a theory. If I had to put odds on it I would go 60% the Weekend at Bernie's approach and 40% Subtle Palace Coup.

I have a suspicion that this will carry on until his term hits the 2 year +1 day mark, then a quick resignation or invocation of the 25th amendment to allow Vance the possibility of 10 years as POTUS.

Going 8-5 six times in a decade and a half = job security for life for Kirk Ferentz.

Questions for every person running for Congress:

For Republicans: Name the specific programs and groups of individuals in your district who should receive less money when spending is cut.

For Democrats: How many people in your district and at what brackets should pay how much more in taxes.
