Congratulations! Benjamin Killeen successfully defended his dissertation “Intelligent Assistance Systems for X-Ray Image-Guided Interventions via Surgical Simulation Environments” under the guidance of advisors Mathias Unberath and Gregory Hager. Benjamin plans to continue his research in academia, focusing on the development of intelligent systems for health care applications. We in the department are extremely proud of our students who have successfully completed their PhD. Congratulations on this achievement and best wishes as you begin an exciting new phase of life!
