Best United player since Ronnie. Kills me he's not still playing for us.

He's our best player since Ronaldo. So sad that the Luddites chased him out of ManU

When you're giving away for free to Barcelona, the best academy player your team has produced in 60 years, something is terribly, terribly rotten with the club.

Ole under Ineos would be winning back to back Champions Leagues. FACT

Best Utd manager in last 12 years. Things were going very, very well until a disruptive transfer window. I'd take him back for 3 years just for the vibes. Paris was my 2nd favourite European away match (after 3-2 in Turin)...Ole's at the wheel...

Time will tell, definitely risky. Wirtz had 2 ACL injuries and Ekitike only had half a good season after being dropped by PSG. Both are coming from much weaker league (Sancho had WAY better stats than those 2 and flopped in PL). At least LFC have Salah who will probably disguise any issues though.

When it looked like Gyokeres was going to Utd and Arsenal were getting Sesko I was happy with that. Now I'm convinced the other way and think Sesko has the higher ceiling. As you say, time will tell.
August 6, 2025 at 9:27 AM
LFC paying over a third of a billion £ on Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike is probably a bigger gamble than MU spending £200m on Sesko, Cunha and Mbuemo
August 6, 2025 at 9:25 AM
Broadly agree. Last 2 summers playing it safe on transfers: low cost (last summer), prem proven (this summer). Sesko definitely biggest gamble but... given his age and profile, probably still a market for him in 2 years to recoup some money. Upside is huge (CL qual £££ + Isak level striker).
August 6, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Whilst probability of young striker being successful 9 at mega club is very low, Sesko could be an exception. Unlike Rasmus, he is much more established at club / international level. His physical tools and technique are exceptional. Rasmus came from nowhere. World knew about Sesko for a long time.
