We wrapped up 2.5 days of our Balt-DC Building Trades Council Annual Conference yesterday, sharing info on current and upcoming projects, DMV-area legislation, apprenticeship readiness programs, combatting wage theft, local hiring initiatives, Project Labor Agreements and more!

At DC city hall yesterday, building trades members called on Mayor Bowser to maintain DC’s PLA law and require quality union jobs on construction of the new RFK stadium. Nearly $1 bill in DC taxpayer $$ should be an investment in both the stadium AND good jobs for DC residents!
