Because my recent reading has been too uplifting, I guess, I decided to pick back up with J.-P. Sartre’s Paths to Freedom trilogy. I read The Age of Freedom and The Reprieve last year, so now it’s time for Troubled Sleep (UK title: Iron in the Soul).

I say all this as a preface to one of the weirdest places I find quality remainders: the Dollar Tree store near my house. I regularly find literary fiction remainders there, for cheap! I got these yesterday!
