Thank you. I live in Canada now, but I’ll see if I can find it on Acorn, Britbox, TeeVeeing or YouTube.

FYI - trivia: the image of the spire of the cathedral was used as the logo for the Norwich Union Insurance Company. When the insurer was bought out and became the international insurance company, Aviva, they retained a stylized version of the spire in their logo. Traditions continue.

Norwich was my home for the 1st 17 years of my life. The cathedral (and the nearby Norman castle) are beautiful imposing buildings that are both worth a visit. Thank you for posting something I haven’t seen in 50 years.

I’m 67. No matter if I live to 107, American democracy and government will not have recovered enough for me to trust that country ever again. That’s a very sad thing to say of a peoples who were once our trusted friends and allies.

What’s age got to do with it???

Thank you for the inspiration. I’ve had one sitting in the closet for a couple of years. Time to take it outside and use it to take advantage of the snow-scape outside my door.

So far so good. We’re travelling less to the US, we’re buying less of what you make. Now, as you jack up the cost of admission to national parks for non-Americans while ours are free, you’ll come and visit us more. We’re happy to see you; your money is still good here, we’re happy to take it😀.

Let’s not forget that after the explosion the good people of Boston sent a relief train with medical staff and supplies to help us out, and to this day we say a small thank you every year by sending them a Christmas tree grown on land in Nova Scotia. We must all help each other in times like this.

If I pick up something and it says “made in the USA” or “product of the USA” it goes straight back on the shelf. That alone makes me feel better.

Nope. Speaking on behalf of all men everywhere, we’re just stupid.

My wife and I know your pain so well, you have our deepest sympathies. They are such a large part of our lives. Cherish the memories, and look forward to the unexplained shadows and odd sounds that will soon come through your home.

Thank you. I was born in Norwich and grew up in Norfolk. I’d guessed it had to have been taken somewhere near Kings Lynn. Do you live there? Hope you’re having a good summer.

Where in Norfolk was this taken?

I’m an electrical engineer, so I can say with some authority that it’s “lumpy lectric”.

Be under no illusion, Trump wants Canadian resources and he’ll use every trick to get it. It’s an economic war to wear us down, but it will become a military war when we retaliate and he invades citing national security.

Governor: with respect, first you need to remove this President and the goons in his circle, release/return all ICE detainees/deportees, pay reparations to those who have lost their liberty, don’t bully but negotiate with other countries in good faith, and fix your constitution to prevent a repeat.

Ha ha!! I wish that were true, but in England, they drive on the left, not the right.

36C yesterday, today at 6 pm it’s dropped to 18C in northern Nova Scotia. Summer is over, fall is here, snow next month.
June 25, 2025 at 9:02 PM
Peaked at 36C by Governor Lake, NS (between Trafalgar and Sheet Harbour). No fun working outdoors in that heat! Thank heavens for the Keiths in the fridge when I got home.

Don’t believe what you’re told. Trump didn’t leave G7 because he had to fix the Iran/Israel issue from the WH; sat comms do reach Kananaskis. He left as he has only contempt for the G7, thinks he doesn’t need them to impose his view of US power, and didn’t want another fight with Zelenskyy.

This was just the first step on a long road. You have a lot of work ahead of you now, and even after this POTUS is gone. Don’t let your democracy collapse any further, it’s in serious trouble.
Steve from NS, Canada.

I’m doing EXACTLY the same thing, just on the other side of the world here in northern Nova Scotia.
