I lived outside LA for 7 years. I understand. I just wish the US could see themselves in global context.

I did. Just discretely pointing out that once again it’s about women needing protection from an acceptable level of protagonists, rather than making the environment safer.

I just realised; Americans have no idea of the conversations we in other countries have before travelling there, like which cities are safest to visit and how to behave if stopped by police (hands on wheel, don’t reach to glove box). It’s not normal. And it’s not the greatest.
