It's so obvious that they're trying to intimidate people from coming out on No Kings Day 10/18. Stephen Miller will be calling it a planned insurrection by this weekend.

Any comment, @ddale8.bsky.social?

Would this be what you'd do if your CiC was going to use the Insurrection Act to declare martial law?

Yeah, even though Schumer sucks, an election is usually a binary choice. Too many have played the "not gonna vote for the lesser of two evils" /slash/ "why bother" game, and we all have lost.

We sure as hell are, until someone stands up to him.

Get out tomorrow folks. Peacefully. If they want violence, let them be the ones showing violence. If it gets really bad, meet ya in the Neutral Zone.

We're at the President Camacho stage in our societal development.

Hegseth requires all the deck personnel to get tatted in off hours and be blotto during duty hours. At ease!

My WW wife and many other WW I know do not hate Kamala; opposite of that in fact. “Some” is a useful word, sometimes.

Reminds me of the talk last time about the emoluments clause. Trump’s legal defense: “emoluments, schmemoluments.” DoJ agrees, folds tent.

Seriously? Don't you know that Netanyahu was celebrating Trump's victory? That Republicans have historically been, and will again be, far far worse for Palestinian rights than the Dems? Ya cut off your nose to spite your face.

How much interest do you suppose he's going to have in maintaining the "full faith and credit" of the US government, the basis of the dollar's value and its position as reserve currency? This is a real question.

Nebraska alum/fan here. I didn't love Ohio State when they beat The Huskers, but I'd rather the conference shows out on the big stage than not. I'm paying attention that The Big Ten bowl record is 10-6 as of this morning, and the SEC record is 8-7.

Pulling for the Buckeyes to win it all.

I wish we weren't responsible for it, but the country is one entity of which all its citizens are a part. And we're all responsible. Did we speak up enough when the FoxBrains around us spoke their hate and drivel? Apparently not.

We can apologize for it, but trust in America is broken.

2022 Kia EV6 here; same skateboard, curves instead of lines. Great car.

Unlike Republicans, Democrats – the true patriots – can accept a result that goes against their wishes.

Much easier to see this effect on the tighter 3-month time scale.

I agree that we need more conservative voices over here, and that will come in time. Doesn't change the fact that Twitter is rotten to the core. Some accounts have been deamplified, yes. Conservative voices in general are more often amplified. blog.x.com/en_us/topics...

And, Twitter has algorithms that are biased toward divisive speech and disinformation and a CEO that his own platform's AI has identified as one of the most prolific spreaders of that disinformation.

No thanks.
