Yes and yes. It takes forever (more than a minute) for hot water to come out of our kitchen faucet. I feel bad running it for so long, but it definitely makes a difference to our dishes. So does not rinsing the heck out of our dishes (we leave a bit of food on them now) and setting the dw to Auto.

Maybe self sabotage on some level?

Once a doctor chewed me out for answering "Fine". She said "I'm not asking to be polite, I'm asking about your symptoms". Rude. Now I never know how to answer.

I struggle with drinking water (and other liquids) so I can y with the struggle to stay hydrated. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.
