Quiet September forest. I had a cow elk and her calf run past me (not sure what spooked them), but that was it.

I'm not a religious person, but I've had moments where I've felt an overwhelming divine presence. It's usually happened in a temple or mountain top, but yesterday I felt it when I came across this tree while deer hunting. Maybe my blood-sugar was low, but I had an inexplicable Holy moment here.

We had a big grape harvest this year, so I made wine. Or am in the process of making wine. Maybe it'll be vinegar. We are Zone 3. 🌱

Pretty unruly, but that's because she almost died this year. I grew this Maple from seed 15 years. Last winter some mice decided to munch on her bark, killed her sibling, and almost killing her 🌱 . Light pruning only this year.
