There's a big trout culture around Asheville, especially with our visitors. But I fish for smallmouth because they are unpressured, and native and wild in my rivers (French Broad watershed). Plus they are warm water brawlers, so I can wet wade.

I am grateful to the Chancellor for his decision on this. But it disturbs me that his comments are qualified, and that he was "on the fence" all along about this, and still is. Brian Hunter '75.
