A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration's directive that U.S. states "undo" steps they took to issue full snap food aid benefits, according to a court notice on Monday.

At the risk of being redundant... I've added shading here to show which states are providing any assistance in lieu of federal SNAP benefits (from: apnews.com/article/shut...)
Picture is still pretty bleak, with most recipients only getting state relieve via food banks. 🥗 🛟

Exactly. Only a few, smaller states use the 1st as a distribution date for everyone.

In general, to make redeeming SNAP easier for retailers. Otherwise they can get a surge in shopping that’s hard to accommodate.
