The 47th street parking-separated bike lane is getting its lines striped from Chestnut Street and Kingsessing Avenue! 👏🏽 🚲 This southbound lane with serve as a companion to the existing northbound 48th street bike lane in West Philly.

The Ivy Ridge Trail will create an extension of the trail from the Manayunk Bridge to the Ivy Ridge Train Station.

Phase 2 will extend the trail to Shawmont Avenue, providing a high-quality alternate route to the Manayunk Canal Towpath. #theCircuitTrails

Council Member Young introduced necessary legislation to build bike lanes on 22nd St, 23rd St, and 13th St today! These bills will go to the Streets Services Committee on 2/25 for a vote. This comes after years of community led advocacy from neighborhood groups and other stakeholders.

NJ State Senate is poised to vote on the Target Zero Commission Bill (S361) tomorrow 12/19. We're optimistic that the bill will be reconciled with the companion bill in the Assembly (A1476) and sent to the Governor.

AASHTO Guide to Bicycle Facilities 5th Edition is now available. It's a bit bulky (600+ pages) and pricey ($392-$543), but the guide finally brings AASHTO into the mainstream of modern bicycle planning.
