The head of Community Living BC (CLBC) is responding to recent criticism of the organization levelled by families and caregivers.

The Crown corporation, which provides supports to adults with disabilities and complex needs, has been under the microscope.

We are saddened and angered by the tragic death of Chase de Balinhard, an autistic teen who was shot and killed during a police incident in Surrey.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and call for enhanced officer training.

In June 2024, 77 participants from 43 provincial organizations that represent children & youth with disabilities came together for the first ever BC Disability Summit.
