Work computer offline for office painting, hour two. Lunch eaten. Losing the will to shower and/or live.

Working from home because at-work office getting painted and I see on security cam someone closed my office door and I think I understand now how our cat feels

Confession: when I see .bsky in my head I hear biss-key

Last week, mgr hands out 1-2 micro fiber towels so team can keep work areas clean. I am skipped but ok with that.
This week, waiting for me in my office:

Me: oh look he likes the new scratching post yay
Cat: I will be able to reach his throat from here even if he’s standing

In low light our cat’s pupils dilate and all I can think is how much he reminds me of a shark. My wife thinks I’m overreacting. Then he attacks my leg when I walk past.

Looks like I picked a bad day to give up social media.

Welp I just tapped one screen thing and the app went jittery and basically insane so I have that going for me

There seems to be a lot of… sanity going on here. And by that I mean civil interactions and not much in the way of sick burns. It doesn’t seem like an echo chamber hmm have I been misled?!
