Paddack has been much better than I expected. It’s not enough to dissuade me from believing he should have been traded, but he has been pretty good compared to other 4-5th starters around the league

I wanted to see a deal involving Paddack & Castro & Tristan Casas before France signed. Yes, I know it would have taken more. Now there is no big benefit to trading him.
