Tachikawa nibs are pretty much the only useful ones for comic drawing. That or vintage ones from an antique dealer. I don't have a saji, just the maru and G of zebra. The rest were no-good.
Haven't tried Speedball, can't trust American brands except for duct tape and WD-40.

Most of my supplies all fit neatly in a single tin pencil box.
Only the few watercolor components, dust brush, straight edge, are too big.
Still, everything can fit into a single drawer with room to spare, and the little brush bath can go under the desk.
I draw more with less. No being overwhelmed.

Been drawing. Will likely color digitally since watercolor paper warps in the scanner even with stuff weighing down the lid. Might be able to scan separate watercolor backgrounds and nail it together.
Next Saturday's page should look decent or I won't upload until it is.

This year went by fast, but I didn't waste any of it. Very eventful. Achieved plenty. Was quite a "level up" sort of year, without too much grinding. Sad about becoming old and living under a petty tyrant. Happy about participating in the arts.

So, tonight I might be alone. Resolutions, was thinking to resolve to get this comic done at least to page 12. Was also thinking of what it would be like to stop giving a fufk.

At long last, a tube of Daniel Smith finest Ultramarine and of vermillion watercolor. These will replace the cheaper Royal Langnickle gouache that I was using.
