For DECADES most F1 fans have never seen what happened to Nigel Mansell in the 1992 Canadian GP. All we knew was he blamed Ayrton Senna.

Turns out ESPN showed this fan footage during the 93 race!

Was F1's three-way tie in qualifying for the 1997 European Grand Prix at Jerez legit?

Did Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher and Heinz-Harald Frentzen really all set the same time in their battle for pole position??

So THIS ⬇️ is no longer the last time McLaren won the F1 constructors' championship 🥵

🤔 We do have one question though: When the car was put back into 1997 Sauber spec, why on earth did someone decide to make it a Norberto Fontana car?! 😑
December 5, 2024 at 10:15 AM
👨‍⚖️ Now the car is up for sale again, currently listed for auction via F1 Authentics.

Sadly, it's way out of our price range ☹️

🏷️ Side note: We LOVE the stickers that are still on the tyres!

🎨 The next time it was sold, it was restored to its original 1997 Sauber colours, and fitted with Goodyear slick tyres from the time
December 5, 2024 at 10:15 AM
💰 It was then sold to a collector who kept the car in its new colours.

Hopefully that person knew what they really had was a Sauber in a Ferrari livery, and they weren't scammed!
December 5, 2024 at 10:15 AM
🔴 The car was sold to a Scandinavian Ferrari dealership, which put it in a Ferrari livery and placed it on display.

We don't have pics of it in red, so here's a cool close up of its steering wheel 🔍

🔵 The chassis was never raced during 1997. A slightly cryptic description says it was "used by the team for ensuring their chassis for the year were in working order".
