the logic here blaming challengers is ridiculous. the party shouldn’t spend any time or mone to defend safe seat incumbents. the choice of nominee in those places, by definition, doesnt impact congressional party control!

To underline this point -- a *majority* of extreme conservative younger adults agree with at least one of these (putatively) anti-semitic statements. But that's not true for any other political group.

oof (from the linked DOJ report) -- he lied that he wanted to call his mother and they let him call whoever he wanted. and it's unknown who he called

maybe a bit more consistent with suicide but not super relevant to the question, i guess

the prison was run poorly with a history of other incidents endangering inmates and management hiding evidence of staff misconduct. not conclusive evidence for suicide but makes it quite plausible
