What if we each carried ourselves as if we were a mighty woman with a torch, whose flame is the imprisoned lightning?

Just another BAFERD
When I interviewed with USC ages ago, I remember them saying that they had a contract with the city of Los Angeles where the bodies of unclaimed homeless persons were donated to the university for medical training.

Genetic. Autism is already known to be 80-90% genetic. Folks are acting like they care about autistics now: when there’s been negligible effort to practically support autistic adults, ensure girls are Dx’ed at comparable rates w/boys so they can also get supports, or attention paid to their voices.

He’s shown us he was a creep for a long time. Does no one else remember this creepy time he pulled a child from the audience and tried to kiss her?

Not the hero we need, but the hero we deserve.

Tip of the iceberg. Wait until you realize the DOJ is subpoenaing for private medical records. If docs don’t hold the line with HIPAA I fear the DOJ will go on the offensive to use a person’s medical history against them and repeat some of the darkest parts of Western history.

Isn’t it something that no one in his inner circle has said, maybe we should keep him from live tweeting his Sundowning for the world to see?

No, but when the artists and comedians are being shut down, it should be raising alarm bells

To be fair this is also true to culture. Chico and Ukiah are basically the same place

Yikes. I understand many people outside the autistic community don’t know better to do better. But when someone tells you, please: intheloopaboutneurodiversity.wordpress.com/2019/03/20/t...
The Ableist History of the Puzzle Piece Symbol for Autism
The puzzle piece is the most commonly recognized symbol for autism awareness. But many people are unaware of its ableist history. On World Autism Awareness Day (April 2nd) , many neurotypical peopl…

I know there’s good intent; but many actually autistic (AA) people consider the puzzle piece cringe if not a hate symbol.

Autistics are not puzzles to solve or missing pieces.

Autism Speaks which uses the symbol pushes what many AA’s consider conversion therapy on autistic kids.

It continues to amaze and horrify me, that the people hung up on finding out the names on Jeffry Epstein’s list of child abusing pedophiles are the same people that permit the suffering and premature death of (at least) hundreds of thousands of children by ending USAID.

Anxiety seems like a natural consequence of a life experiencing a world too loud, bright, or filled w/unclear subtext. But I think it would be a bit sad to think of autism as an anxiety DO, b/c in a sensory friendly world where people said what they meant, I think you’d feel calm and peaceful.

So true, but also many people who feel it isn’t a disability personally for them, feel that way because they’ve successfully managed their environment to avoid stressors, play to their strengths, and worked out
support systems where needed. Their disability is well compensated for….not absent.

They don’t believe in truth, they believe anything that serves their objectives is permissible.

But truth is truth.

The kids are alright. Just built a little different Ex. Typically have a slightly larger forebrain even if slightly smaller cerebellum. It’s all just another flavor of normal.

Always though it was interesting that lawyers are the one type of doctor that are eager not to be called doctor. Collectively as a group there is zero historical interest. What do you know that the rest of us are missing?

Maybe you’re autistic.
This is thought to the reason some autistic kids spin: they’re seeking proprioceptive input. Autistics typically have slightly smaller cerebellums compared to neurotypical peers.
