“Human Nature” was also the excuse given in defense of feudalism. It is, and always has been, a platitude meant to quell the voice of moral justice in each of us that cries out in the face of societal injustice. Ideological programming at its finest. Don’t be fooled.
There’s never been a true communist state. I don’t think they are even possible given basic human behaviors.
Most governments for ~200 yrs have been oligarchies with varying degrees of fascism. The US is now becoming a repressive version of that, similar to the old USSR and Iron Curtain states.
