Forgot to post this on blue sky lol, I am the now proud owner of a full 8mm copy of the 1922 silent horror film Nosferatu, I'm currently designing a motorized carrier for it as it's physically too large for 99% of 8mm projectors

This is the case for my projector Gus, Gus has a spring loaded stand arm to make it easier to adjust the height of the very heavy stainless steel and glass projector parts, I did not realize this and almost broke my wrist when it shot out at mach fuck

BBQ update: I'm working on restoring my late 1940s Speed Graphic press camera, I installed the new curtains and have the graflok back installed, it pretty much just needs a new shutter plate and ground glass and after that it's ready for shooting, might get it a nicer lens though

Alex update: I saw the original Star Wars in theaters which was quite honestly the coolest fucking shit ever, also I'm moving out of my parents house in a few weeks so I'll be able to post more stuff as I'll be able to setup a proper workshop area and actually have privacy 😩

I've been wanting to modify an old folding camera to shoot modern instant film and it seems I have a volunteer as the winding knob on this thing broke while I was removing the test roll
