Both groups have higher trust in themselves compared to societal groups. Does this reinforce the populist narrative of elites in government and spell trouble for the federal government's attempts to streamline the public service?

We find members of Parliament have high trust in the public service, while Canadian public servants at all levels of government have lower trust in politicians.
