It’s about our resources and ownership of the NW passage and increasing the US’ borders.
But we have NO desire to become the 51st State - why would we want to join the hellscape that America is now?? There are a few MAPLEMAGA’s who think it’s a great idea but 90 % of us say HELL NO.

I want to talk about Trump’s threats to make Canada the 51st State and Trudeau’s response that this is a serious threat. He is not wrong. It’s not about fentanyl, or his claim that the US subsidizes Canada (it’s called TRADING not subsidizing), or any other BS he throws out.
