Where did I say I was resigned to or satisfied with fascism? Literally the only point I've argued is that the reason trump won has more to do with the Democratic candidates who lost to a fascist, rather than a third party candidate who is barely a blip on the electoral map.

Right, so maybe the Dems offering a candidate that doesn't suck shit would help accomplish that. Lest we forget Kamala Harris was primary polling in single digits before Biden (who also sucks shit and was polling terribly) got the nod in 2020

Not to mention this discounts the generally equal and opposite electoral effect of right leaning independent and libertarian candidates. Also trump's margins of victory were across the board bigger than Stein's percentages. Don't have to like her voters, but she's not the reason trump won twice

Plus Dems unwillingness to use what little power they have to push back, for example voting to confirm every single trump appointee, shows the typical half step measures of any modern dem administration

The idea is that neoliberalism is not a strong enough antidote to fascism both in the short and long term. Which as shown by one term of Biden, or two of obama, it's not. Establishment Dems created no safe guards against any of this, including but not limited to not expanding the supreme court.
