People pushing dumb ideas used to find it very hard to build a community around them. Social media is optimized to build communities around dumb ideas as long as they trigger interaction.

7. This post season, and this whole year, have been the Jays making a statement. For a while they've been a perennial also-ran. Those years are over. Schneider talked about setting a standard and an expectation, and that's right.

6. Starting pitching is also something we need to sort out. Bieber is leaving. I hope they can hold onto Bassett but I doubt it. Not sure how many years Max has left in him. Gausman and Yesavage are a great start but we need to pick up some solid starters to go with them.

5. Need to sign Bo. Lock him in with Vladdy for a while.

4. The Jays have a lot of young guys who can step up and do amazing things and that's a tremendous asset as you look at next year. Barger, Lukes, Schneider, Clement (Clement!), all these guys are stars. The bullpen is also young and solid.
