There's a tiny bit in the story where Diana confronts a rogue GL that I love. Just before she announces her presence in a regal, formal manner, she clears her throat. It was always so funny to me, the way she transitions into her serious, "official-sounding" voice. And smart characterization too.

Yes, that jumped out at me too. These goons relish that kind of trolling. They will milk every ounce of cruelty and outrage they can out of this atrocity, including in their intentional twisting of religion to not only justify their actions, but also to assert their power to define reality.

I agree, and I think they're afraid of a scenario in which they wind up being attracted to someone trans. Much of the anti-trans shit is really just about what cishet men find attractive. It's the lens they view ALL women through. Your worth/legitimacy is based only on whether they wanna fuck you.

I think something important that I don't see many people highlighting is that according to his post, Trump himself assumed one of his own supporters was the culprit, acting in revenge for Reiner's outspoken opposition.

Target became popular at a time when many Americans were skeptical of Wal-Mart's business practices and their right-wing lean, and were looking for an alternative that more closely aligned with their values. Now that Target has obliterated that distinction, there's no reason to shop there anymore.
