Singapore Airlines will sponsor the Formula 1® Singapore Grand Prix for another 4 years. The carrier has been the title sponsor of the event for 11 years since 2014.

This year’s Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix is scheduled for 3-5 October at the Marina Bay Circuit.

Turkey’s Pegasus Airline placed 100 firm order for Boeing B737-10 with an option for another 100 for its network expansion in Europe, Middle East, Central Asia & Africa. The new order brings Pegasus’ total orders of the 737 MAX variant to over 1200 airplanes.

Malaysia Airlines adds 112 red-eye flights from KL to Sabah (BKI, SDK & TWU) & Sarawak (KCH & MYY) from 19 Dec 2024 - 1 Jan 2025 & 102 extra red-eye flights to East Malaysia between 24 Jan - 4 Feb 2025.

Malaysia Airlines also adds 7th daily flight to Jakarta from KL from 28 Jan 2025.

Malaysia Airlines making its entry into Central Asia again via Tashkent, Uzbekistan as the carrier resume its codeshare partnership with Uzbekistan Airways.

The KL-Tashkent & Tashkent-KL flights are operated by Uzbekistan Airways.

Korean Air finalised its US$1.3 billion deal to merge with Asiana Airlines today by purchasing nearly 64% of the latter’s stake. The merger was announced 4 years ago on Nov 16, 2020. Korean Air plans to complete the integration with Asiana within 2 years.
