THE BASE 🏗 》My latest #Minecraft build involves a missing submarine and an average-looking base 😅

A mates' child drew a pink submarine for me, so I made it in MC... but then I got carried away by adding a crane, a base and a smidge of landscaping, too! [1/2]
On a shoreline stands a large, square, brick building. Sitting on top of its flat roof is a small orange crane, with an oxidised copper platform beneath. The platform is connected to an exposed copper brace that wraps around the building. On either side of the brick building are smaller flat-roofed white office buildings. A blue silhouette shape of a small submarine covered up using Microsoft Paint is in the water outside of the brick building, that has a large stone brick archway entrance. This image is the same as the first, only from the reverse angle. The first image reads as follows: On a shoreline stands a large, square, brick building. Sitting on top of its flat roof is a small orange crane, with an oxidised copper platform beneath. The platform is connected to an exposed copper brace that wraps around the building. On either side of the brick building are smaller flat-roofed white office buildings. This picture is zoomed out further than the first picture, and shows a small, sandy shoreline in the foreground. The shoreline also includes some rough grass, as well as some cattail plants and lilypads in the shallow water. This image is similar to the first, but it also shows a better view of the rooves. The main build has a mixture of air conditioner fans and solar panels on top, whereas the white buildings have groups of small air conditioner generators.

Outside of Minecraft, I've dabbled with various games:

- I got my PowerWash on and finished the main game,
- Committed road rage on FlatOut 1&2,
- Became a pro Trombonist (stop laughing) on Trombone Champ,
- AND I finally 100%'ed a game on Steam... good ol' Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion! 🥳

A screenshot from my Steam Library, which shows that I have a Perfect Game, 37/37 achievements rating on Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion.

When it comes to Minecraft, I've got 4 Quite Large Builds I'd like to make, but I'm struggling to find a new laptop to take the place of my current one.

I'm hoping that they'll be better in '25, because when I try and look at the Dragon I'm currently working on, things get a little... hazy... 😄
The Minecraft Ender Dragon that I have been constructing, with its mouth open slightly, complete with purple eyes and pink inside of its mouth, appears to be floating in mid-air, as the rest of the Dragon's black torso, light grey wings and black legs have failed to render in the picture.

IRL Updates!

This year, I've tried a new IBD new treatment & it's been... pretty meh.

However, I've been able to do other things, like knitting & painting!

I'm not going to show the full picture online, but here's a tiny close-up of one canvas, which likely begs more questions than answers... 😅

THE OAK ROAD:

A few months ago, I had a silly idea to recreate Luton Town's iconic away end in Minecraft.

After sketching out a template, I decided to give it - and map making - a real go.

Today, I finally finished it!

There's a number of map errors in it, but for first attempts, I'm happy! 🧡
My first sketched out idea for the Oak Stand. The walls are made out of red wool blocks, while the windows are made out of iron blocks. The roof is made from deepslate stairs. The entrance is made of simple white and blue wool blocks, while the area around the future build is made up of grass and mountains. The final Oak Stand build. The houses around the entrance are made of red brick blocks with a half-slab quartz top, and snow layers for the window ledge. There are also chimneys, TV aerials (made of iron fences), a pavement and road (grey and black, respectively, with a light yellow line running parallel on the road). The entrance has 'OAK STAND' in white on a blue background, with gate numbers either side. There are white posters and blue signs dotted across the doors underneath.

Recently, I've spent a chunk of time map making.
