Definitely agree with this too - Kuminga had less of an opportunity, but at the same time he has an extremely experienced coach and gets to play with the spacing provided by Curry/Klay

I agree that Kuminga has been constrained by his situation.

Tatum’s game also was much more polished than Kuminga’s entering the league, considering one was a Duke alum and the other went the G league route.

I think Moody catching Brown is possible. I don’t see Kuminga ever getting to Tatum’s level. Tatum was the best player on a team that took LeBron to 7 games in the ECF as a rookie.

Kuminga has so much potential but he’s already far behind Tatum resume-wise

That’s a cool idea. I think they should consider doing it, for the right number. It’s really hard to guess what kinda contract he might get with his reputation better than his actual production lately.

He still gets guarded like crazy at the 3pt line though, so would definitely help with spacing

Yeah Trae is no doubt a terrible defender, I think the question is whether or not you can build a defense around him to make up for it.

Overall though I think it’s a long shot that he ends up on the Spurs, it’s just one of the names floating around

There’s been a lot of noise about Trae Young. Wemby may be the one player who can truly clean up Trae’s defense, and Trae can really pass.
