So the real question isn’t “who decides what’s true.” The question is, do we still have the ability to decide anything together at all? Because once we lose that, democracy isn’t under threat. It’s already gone.

💯 I was complacent about it all these years because I thought rational heads would prevail. And now the damage is so deep there is little recourse for an individual. In fact, the the few people that understand the urgency and depth of this are other rural-raised progressive voices. Need more of them

There is a frustrating lack of rural opposition voices on this app.

Community care has been stripped bare in some states and communities. This is ***intentional*** to dramatically increase the burden on caregivers. Because we are the empathetic ones.

If the US claims to be punishing Columbia for allowing what it describes as “illegal protests” and failing to protect students from “anti-Semitic harassment on campus”, why is the government mainly terminating medical, public & environmental health funding that keeps us safe? 6/
