Retired IT Services manager and consultant.
Living in Victoria Australia.
Boat building, 3D printing and the environment/climate change, but not necessarily in that order.
Labor or LNP, both now right-wing parties. Not as bad as the UK though, where Labour, Reform and what's left of the Tories are all either heading to the far-right, or already there!

Yep. Whatabout China indeed. They aren't stupid, that's for sure.
Amazing isn't it, that deniers keep banging-on about how awful renewables are & how China produces so much of the World's excess CO2, yet fail to link the facts that China are investing $$$$ in creating a renewable energy revolution.

I can't agree. Big Australia means more ppl cramming into the areas of the country already well populated, which also happens to be the area where most of the flora/fauna lives.
Big Australia means more pollution (including emissions) loss of habitat and loss of amenity. Is this living like this OK?

We've got one that lives in and around the garden. We don't see it often, but we can tell which rotten tree stumps have the best bugs in 😉

Yes, it's only a matter of time. Who in their right mind, would allow development like this when we've already been warned of hotter longer heatwaves?
High density, dark roofs, no trees or green spaces and barely a solar panel in sight. Madness.
