Documentation-driven development i.e. the feature you build / modify should be explained in an actionable way from the user's pov. Not just requirement engineering but also API description + example + synergy with the current product and its market.

My favorite way to test an AI coding platform is to ask it to build a google docs clone.

Sounds simple but is incredibly hard.

All platforms so far fail right away when I try to do basic text formatting.

One thing I schedule time for every day is skill acquisition and information retrieval skills.

- Learn something new and important every day as fast as possible.
- Constantly be on the lookout for good information sources.
- Build the systems and tools you need to speed up.

- working on an app for devreel was a huge mistake
- most devtools saas should start as a $25 lib / module / package + landing page (be good at one thing)
- start marketing
- turn it into a CLI
- wrap it in an HTTP API
- only then build a web ui
