I lost my oldest sister in a car accident when I was 9 and she was 13. Friday was the anniversary. It’s been decades, but I was also in the car. I saw and remember everything like it was yesterday. It’s still a hard day.

I have a really challenging group of students this year. Having a place full of kindness, instead of the vitriol on that other site, has helped me decompress. When I can mindlessly scroll, it helps me to mentally wipe the slate clean for tomorrow. Thank you butterflies, you are appreciated.
