Mind expounding on why you believe Daggerheart is better for beginners? My reading is that it’s just as crunchy as D&D, just a different style of crunch.

Great review. I have long sought to run Decent into Avernus but have steered clear because of the issues. I feel like you did the best summary I have read. Have you thought about putting your fixes in a PDF on the DM’s Guild?
