Found this lovely lady on my walk in the woods. Always in the same spot but does not come up every year. This trillium is apparently a shy one.

Finished reading Careless People. Everything I feared Facebook might one day turn into—it did. The smear campaign on the author merely confirms the factual nature of her accusations. Always thought my fellow techies would end up being the good guys, I could not have been more wrong.

A wonderful oil painting of Amsterdam in 1950 by Henry Kuyvenhoven of Owen Sound/Sauble Beach (originally from Netherlands). He was close friends of my parents, who coincidentally both made gin in their basements in the 1960s.

Had a lot of snow last week on Georgian Bay. Spent so much time looking down when clearing forgot how much above has to be cleared as well.

It is time to join the EU. I bet they would accept us in a matter of seconds (we could replace Hungary). We don't really need the USA and once the dependancies are removed we will be much better off. Also need to have free trade between our own provinces but that is a topic for another day!

Needed a challenge and some extra local storage. Fired up 18 year old DLINK DNS-323 and dropped 2 2TB drives in and… problem solved. Needed some electrical tape to hold front cover on but who says old tech always needs to be tossed!
