as far as characterization goes this season is definitely the “Loki we’ve been waiting” for but it’s still so belated in a way that just doesn’t track… emotionally I like the finale and symbolism of an unwitting eventual throne but the way it dooms him to eternal loneliness is unnecessarily bitter
