I think we need to remember this is a war on expertise at a critical moment in time when our definition of expertise was becoming more expansive and equitable. This makes the link between the attack on expertise/science and attempts to re-segregate much more clear.

💯 sympathetic with you on this but (1) it’s not “therefore” but “and” and (2) relentless comprehensive mockery is the best medicine against authoritarians. I am willing to set my ethics aside somewhat and fight dirty, but ymmv and I am not judging.
