Same goes for the peanut butter-filled pretzel bites, though I just really love peanut butter.

This is ideal to me. If NPCs spot an orc paladin walking around it should be regarded as "oh... something happened here".

Even as a "rage bait joke thread", the advice wasn't so terrible it warranted that much attention. Most if not all of it was helpful, decent advice deliberately taken in very bad faith.
I think anyone else posting those writing tips from a dead serious perspective wouldn't have gotten dogpiled on.

I dunno if I'd interpret it that way. Dumbness and LLM use is certainly correlated, but I would've interpreted that experiment as saying someone who did a set of reasoning exercises beforehand will do better at another round of reasoning exercises than someone who encountered them for the 1st time.

She's not. Rowling has always been receptive to POC Hermione headcanons, and now the character she wrote as someone Harry could tell was evil just by looking at him is black. Anyone who watches is going to be subject to a million micro-aggressions per ep. He's a bad casting choice AND she loves it.

Imo pretty privilege discussions are a lot like "but women get into clubs for free and men don't!" discussions. Yes objectively people are nicer to you and treat you with more respect (does NOT mean they do respect you). It comes with its own long list of cons, including being viewed as a commodity.

Any time a YouTube video is over two hours long and it's about some drama, A. it could've been summarized in 20 minutes or less, B. it's making claims of criminal behavior (get off YT and call the police!), or C. both.

Obsessions with other people are super creepy regardless of what forms they take—I don't know why the internet doesn't condemn the mindset behind creating extensive dossiers about each time a person breathes.
