The manzanitas are in full bloom at China Camp State Park (Marin County). Bees and hummingbirds everywhere. Go experience them before the rains wash the flowers off.

More inversion weather (bad air) today. At China Camp looking east, I felt like I was gazing out to sea -- couldn't even see Point Pinole. The tide was high and I could hear waves slapping against the shoreline.

It's a short steep climb (both directions) to get here, but the view is worth it. I'll be back when the grass greens up.
