Bay Area sports fan with an odd love for Milwaukee basketball. Nerdy about cars, music, and sometimes woodworking. Sell soap for a living.
Never said he was bad. I just don’t think he’s very good, either. He’s just kinda… meh.
An elite defense, some quality offensive talent, and a really good HC will take you pretty far.

Not very good players have a good day once in a while. Not sure why people want to take one game and say this changes his story so far.

Don’t have to be mean, just honest. Be polite, but be firm. Make them admit that the abuse of children is a line they’re willing to cross because they believe it benefits them.

That’s because the AI-driven content is by design. It’s cheaper for them. Drives me fuckin’ nuts how we’ve sold our collective soul to that garbage.

Are you a real artist? Back to the mines with you, buddy.

I like the idea of businesses competing by way of letting the purchasing public decide who offers the best stuff. That’s as far as it goes.

Those companies should be owned by their workers, full stop. You should own the fruits and means of your labor, and you shouldn’t be taken advantage of.

If you can’t ever admit you’re wrong, then you don’t ever deserve to be right.

Pretty sure my dad said that longer ago that I’d like to admit.

I’d be in favor of a wage cap for executives. There’s no reason for them to be making more than, let’s say 15x the lowest paid employee’s salary.

Hmm, turns out my perception of France was ill-researched and just wrong.
November 9, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Can’t you, though? France seems to do a decent job of it.

That’s where the safeguards of caps on essentials is important.
That and a high tax rate on the wealthiest in our society, as well as a high corporate tax rate.

Nobody *wants* to pay taxes. So a company will reinvest earnings back into the business rather than pay Uncle Sam.
November 8, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Y’all know he’s gonna do it anyway, right?
November 8, 2025 at 7:24 PM
I’d say that the modern perversion of capitalism is evil. Maybe what we’ve got is the inevitable result.

But I believe that if we socialized or put price caps essentials like medicine and food, and let the free market competition do the rest, we might have something.

I don’t know if LA makes a serious push here. Their outfield needs more attention.

Nancy Pelosi was an insider trading profiteer and deliberately stifled progressive voices in her own party, probably because she didn’t want them getting in the way of her making money.

Good riddance.
November 6, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Didn’t y’all watch Star Wars? The same people who create the war can also claim to be your saviors?

This has been decades in the making. In sales we call it “manufacture a need.”

Because there are enough people in this country who refuse to elect a California politician as their President. There’s a perception that California politics are toxic and too far to the left.
November 5, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Vance has the coaching from his handlers, though. Although I don’t think Vance secures a 2028 nomination.
November 5, 2025 at 6:33 AM
Newsom as the Democratic nominee would hand the election to whoever he’s running against.
November 5, 2025 at 5:48 AM
We’ve been saying they can’t do a lot of things they’ve already done.
November 2, 2025 at 1:04 AM
Because Schumer sucks and is the head of the corporatist, establishment wing of the Democratic Party.

Last time I checked, you don’t attack something by not punching it in the face.
November 1, 2025 at 4:41 PM
People will rave about the character growth and redemption in a fictional story like American History X, and then ostracize the real life example whose sins pale compared to Derek Vinyard.

The purity testing on the American political left continues, and it’s why they lose elections.
October 22, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Motherfucker didn’t stop any wars. I’m so tired of media personnel being unwilling to call out the most obvious of lies.
October 21, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Protest in the morning.
Range day in the afternoon.

A fascist trained today. Did you?
October 18, 2025 at 5:44 PM
No they aren’t. The people leading the MAGA movement know exactly what they’re doing and what to say to whip up their base.
