Modeling my great kilt at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Six yards of fabric with no seams, just held together with a belt. Heck yeah, I'm wearing shorts under it!

It's not easy, painting a picture of my phantom. It's especially hard to capture the shimmering effect, in watercolor.

A fun day yesterday at Ren in the Glen, in Wisconsin. White kilts are just a little silly. Photo of me before the faire opened, and the closed up shops at the end of the day. Too busy the rest of the time to be taking pictures.

It's always good when there are young children on the discovery adventures, at the nature park, because they see things the adults miss. Center left of the picture - one of the hundreds of tiny frogs that were swarming out of a pond and across the path. Quarter for scale.

Carolina Larkspur - a new flower on the list, for the Prairie Wildflower Discovery Tour at Tamarack Nature Center. Event starts in an hour and a half. I hope we can find this again!

After an unfortunate episode of nest predation by crows, the robins are again incubating eggs, on the platform near out front door. Maybe need to start using the kitchen door, soon?
