Paper Birch
The bark is quite flexible and waterproof, making it a popular raw material. Paper birch bark is used in canoe construction, as well as clothing and waterproof coverings.
Also, the inner bark can be boiled and eaten. And it’s used medicinally.

Sieglinde
It was her 2nd cancer diagnosis, she was familiar with what was going to be expected from her physically. But wanted to still walk two little dogs herself. With a soft tremble in her voice she ask me would I walk with her. I said, yes.
Never miss a chance to be a friend. #black&white

Seneca-Letters to Lucilius
Seneca uses Autumn imagery more subtly. In letter 24, he compares human life to the changing season. Emphasizing that aging and death are as natural as the turning of the year.
Detach from what must pass. Release without distress.
Shedding of externals.

The Cycle of Change
Nothing stays static, why should we? Just as a tree shed their leaves to prepare for new growth, we too can release what no longer benefits us. Fall’s beauty lies in its impermanence, the fleeting colors, the cooling air, the promise of change.

Somewhere Else
I didn’t get a name, but I got a picture of the day the heavens open above you and I, that day the rain stopped and the sun shined on a Fall afternoon.
I’m sorry I didn’t get sour name.

Sweet Germany
Just a few miles from home, Duke pops up, he knows we are home.
Although subdued Germany greets me. It’s in stillness Germany unfolds it’s heart. Not in grand gestures, but with a steady presence. A change in the air, or a rainbow. I stop to appreciate the quiet things. #photography

The Slender-Billed Curlew
The International Union 4 Consecutive of Nature has officially declared the Curlew extinct, making the first known global extinction of a formerly widespread migratory bird species whose range included mainland Europe.
Irrsee, host a pair of these rare beauties. #birds🪶

Mondsee
I thought, I would end this series with my favorite lakes in the Salzkammergut.
Lake Mondsee is nestled between the striking peaks of the Drachenwand Massif and rolling hills of the surrounding area.
Kreisten, is there to remember those who drowned in an accident in the 18th hundreds.

Harpoint Observatory
Perched above Zell am Moos, the Harpoint site has low light pollution and clear alpine skies making it one of best stargazing spots in the region.
The small dome structure blends in with rural landscape, offing panoramic views of Irrsee and Mondsee lakes by day, stars by night.

As a matter of a fact they do. The waterfall makes pools of water that is encouraged that people take a dip.

Plötz Waterfall
A hidden gem, this idyllic waterfall is 25 meters high. It’s surrounded by a picturesque forest that provides pleasant shade during the summer. The waterfall is part of the Ebenau Mill Trail, which passes by several historic mills.

The Layers
Layers whisper where light meets shadow. Each one a quiet echo of depth, memory and motion unfolding like nature’s own secret.

They had chickens, one afternoon I saw them out for an afternoon stroll.
And they had only 10 cows. Here is a very bad photo of the farmers wife’s feeding the cows 🐮🤍😀

Zell am Moos
I wanted to share with you where I stayed while in Austria. It was so cute, a small farm. The family lived on the first floor and I was on the second floor. It was quiet and peaceful also came with a wonderful view. Duke was also happy with the accommodation.
Happy Weekend 🪄💖✨#clip

Irrsee
Also know as Lake Zell,in the Salzkammergut, Austria. It’s a so called virgin lake, stretching 5 kilometers long an 1 kilometer wide. It’s a popular tourist destination, also thanks to the warmest water temperature of all lakes in Salzkammergut. #photography #nature #lake #austria #travel

Kyle Moore Abbey
There should be an unwritten law
that The Emerald Isle should only be shot on film. It’s those lush green landscape that write and sing about. The level of intensity can only be measured by film.

Believe me, it was not for the weak. And it took full concentration to control my emotions, to feel someone’s breath on the back of your neck is next level anxiety.
The reason you think that is you were shown pictures of before gates are open or during the week and some even AI.

Closed due to overcrowding. There is something brutally evil about people crowding into an event to pay 20€ for a beer and to play dress up.
I think it’s a form escapism.
Anyway, for me at 5’4 this was a nightmare. So my colleague had to record for me until we could get out of the crowd.
