Doing some visible mending lately. I finally sorted out all the socks that have holes in my drawer and made a small pile of socks that are worth the time to save. Luckily @wipgenerator.bsky.social recommended an excellent maker a while back who has an absolutely beautiful book on mending.

I finished my Polworth spin!!!
I had a tiny bit leftover and the chain ply was even better than the fractal! Ah! I should've sampled ahead of time. 😮💨
Still, a beautiful squishy worsted weight. This is the most yarn i have ever spindle spun and plied and i ADORE it. #handspun #spindlespun #spindle

I finished my Polworth spin!!!

Closing out a MF'r of a week. Big deep sigh. Spinning in my me made sweats on the couch with my giant cat with a cup of rapidly cooling coffee while we read the Hourly Comics Day comics. I love hourly comics day so much. I reposted some really awesome ones if you are interested in reading some.

Im liking that the color changing stripes make me want to spin longer. This fiber has plum/lavendar, a dusty blue and a golden yellow and i wasn't really expecting it to turn into an optical (1/n)

Witch's Cauldron rolags I made for the giveaways in July for TDF. I think I may try to chain ply them on spindle. Never been able to pull that off before. But i like the stripes a lot and i think it would be fun to keep them. If that doesn't work, 3 ply regular. #spindles #handspun #rolags
