Doing some odd jobs in my patents' rather neglected garden, happened across this wee chap 😍 I got a surprise but he never stirred! Left him to his snooze and moved away.

@dorsetbutterflies.bsky.social can I have some id help please...? Am I right that these are all small skippers rather than Lulworth? Taken last week near Harmon's Cross. Thank you!

What better way to spend an impossibly hot afternoon than taking advantage of some @nationaltrust.org.uk deckchairs at the lovely #KingstonLacy & catching up with some reading. Thoroughly enjoying Isabella Tree's book on the amazing (re)wilding work being done at #Knepp @kneppwilding.bsky.social

Managed a wee visit to the old scrapes at Musselburgh ystday. Thrilled to catch up with this bobbing beauty! Jack snipe was ✅️123 for 2025 & a lifer to boot! Also ✅️124 provided by fly through of 3 sand martins. Chiffchaffs everywhere. Peacocks & my first comma of the year

Surprised to see #swifts in Macclesfield this afternoon! Fabulous mural near the train station.

To celebrate being #NewToBlue, here's one of my favourite bluesky photos from this year. A gorgeous summer's day at @nationaltrust.bsky.social Attingham Park.
