CDC estimate there were about 10 million domestically acquired foodborne illnesses in 2019. Campylobacter and Salmonella are the most common bacterial causes of illnesses. There were also many Salmonella and Campy infections that were not foodborne. wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/...
