My son told us about his first kiss. On his own. He came to us because he wanted to share that moment with us. It was so special. I would NEVER have gone to my parents with that.

The abuse that experienced that I just accepted as part of being a teenager is mind blowing to me. I was so much more sexualized at 14 than my son is. Which I am so thankful for. I'm just mind blown daily.

Agreed. I'm a state worker and not super happy about some of his choices when it comes to our raises, etc. But he stood up to a bully, and that's what needs to happen.
