I offhandedly said but I think Dean's more Dostoevsky than Tolstoy [nb: Leo's later work = nah] and Jensen said (imo self-derogatorily) "i dunno, he's probably more Dan Brown" and I said "Oh no he is not! Dean has _depth_" and Jensen got soft
