We have 2 large garden spiders here on our porch and catching the dew drops like that is NOT easy, but yours is beautiful. So delicate and fine.

I always thought those were marigolds. Buttercup are much rounder, larger, and generally a pale yellow. At least in Texas and Oklahoma. Great photo tho!

I don't think so because at noon, the plants were fine. We did have a good rain, but no debris or flowers on the ground. They just disappeared. Took a nap. Got up to this....we are stumped. Could have been a rogue deer tho....

Foamflower. If you have an Android phone, hold your finger on the center circle button at the bottom of your screen,about 2 - 3 seconds, and the screen gets hazy. Use your fingertips to circle what you want to know about, say a flower, and boom! You got it on your screen with all kinds of info.

We also have some growing in our yard and about a mile or so (as the crow flies), on the Illinois River at No Head Hollow. I just love the names of the river put-in .....
